Diagonal Waves

As the name suggests a diagonal wave is a wave that is at an angle to main river flow. As with other waves, diagonal waves are created by the rocks on the river bed or a convergence of water flow and can vary in shape and size. In some situations they may just extend across a small part of the river or in others they may be across the whole flow.
